Kylie Cosmetics ft KKW Lipstick Review

Ok so I finally got my KKW lipsticks in the mail. Those who follow me on Instagram may have seen my mini unboxing. I literally picked the package up from the mail and posted me unboxing the product. For swatches keep reading!

DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional  make up artist. I did simple swatches with one coat of each color to give people an idea off what the colors could look like.

Ok so as some of you may know, ordering from can be a pain when she first releases a new product. Her stuff sells out really fast, so you’re lucky if you snag a product. Luckily I was able to snatch up this beauty on her first launch date! When you order you do get a notice that email confirmation and shipping can take longer for new releases due to high volume. I didn’t get an email confirmation for maybe 3 or 4 days.

Kylie does offer free shipping on orders over $40. So since this retailed for about $45, I got free shipping. From the time I got my email confirmation it took about 2 weeks for the product to finally arrive (I live in the midwest btw).

The packaging is beautiful. It comes in  a nude package. Each lipstick comes in a clean looking frosted package. There isn’t a smell with these lipsticks. Some of kylies other lip kits have a sweet candy like odor to them which is nice.

Kim supposedly has a surprise coming soon. Who knows? Maybe her own makeup line!!

This is the first lipstick I tried and I really liked it. It went on very smooth and seemed like a true nude on me.

This color was pretty as well. Seemed to have more of a coral/pink undertone. A little light for  me though.

Probably my least favorite. It was WAY to light for me. Maybe with the right lip pencil I could make it work, but this probably won’t be my first choice.

This one seemed to  be the darkest of them all. Comes off as more pink than a nude.

Overall I really liked the lipsticks. Most worked for me except or KiKi which was way too light. I was a little leery at first because these colors seemed to only fit those of a certain skin tone. But those with darker tones could make this work as well. I almost wish they would extend the colors to those with darker tones. Lastly, these went on very smooth and were not drying. With that said I do not think they are very long lasting. As you can probably tell they are quite sheer and I would need more coats (as well as a lip liner) in order to give myself a full glam look. Four lipsticks for $45 isn’t bad, however this is not a product I would label as a MUST BUY. I would give it a 6.5-7/10.
